Fun “make & take” seasonal craft projects for adults. No art experience is needed for these easy-to-follow projects just waiting for your creative stamp! Instruction provided. Check the website or fliers for the monthly project details. Pre-registration is required so there are ample supplies on hand. On-line registration is not available.

Public Speaking - Toastmasters

Whether you are looking to improve your confidence, your delivery skills, or your ability to persuade and influence others, Toastmasters has something to offer. With a focus on practical, hands-on learning, you will be asked to put your new skills to the test through a variety of real-world scenarios and exercises, with full feedback and support from other members every step of the way. You will gain confidence and a range of new skills and techniques for communicating with clarity and impact in any situation. 

Workshops

Private Voice Lessons

Learn how to sing with amazing technique from a professional performer and opera singer. All styles are welcome. For younger children interested in music, the lesson can also include ear training, reading and writing music, and singing songs. Learn from a teacher with top skills in a supportive environment. Students sign up for four 30-minute lessons that will be scheduled directly with the instructor after registration.

Paint Like Bob Ross

These workshops  teach the Bob Ross style wet-on-wet oil painting by a certified Ross® Instructor who will provide Bob Ross® certified tools and materials.  The workshop is designed to lead you step by step to create “happy little trees, clouds, and mountains”. All levels of experience are welcome to learn that there are no great mysteries to painting. At the end of the workshop, attendees will go home with a frame-ready painting that you never thought possible, created by your own heart and hands. 

Paint away stress

It’s not just another art class but stress management with painting. Explore many art styles with a retired Wellness Psychologist and Art Therapist.  Oriental multimedia painting and calligraphy will be used on traditional oriental paper scrolls which are ready to hang (no frame needed).  No art experience required since step by step instruction will make it easy and fun.  After each workshop, you’ll be relaxed, happy, stress-free and taking home a new masterpiece.  Call-in registration to receive $20 total discount if you enroll in all 4 sessions.                   

 

Guitar Lessons

Do you have an acoustic guitar sitting in a corner collecting dust? Maybe you’d enjoy taking lessons with your son, daughter or grandchild? Beginners and experienced alike can join in for some quick pickin’ and fun strummin’! Students will need to purchase the Hall Leonard Guitar Book 1 for the first 12 weeks of lessons which can be found on Amazon. Please bring acoustic (NOT ELECTRIC) guitar to class with you or the instructor can provide input on appropriate guitar size during the first lesson. Registration required with lessons starting in January.
