The Rheba Sutton White Chapel, built in 1924 by dedicated members of the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church, utilized bricks from the Southern College Administration Building for its construction. Over the years, it has served various purposes, including being Palm Harbor’s first library and a community food pantry. The county recognized its significance by designating it as a historical site. In 2005, the chapel was dedicated to Rheba Sutton, a lifelong Palm Harbor resident who fought to prevent its demolition on multiple occasions.
