Recreation Leader II

As a Recreation Leader, you will take the lead in planning, organizing, and delivering dynamic recreational programs, camps, and community activities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, people-centered environment and is passionate about fostering connection, engagement, and well‑being within the community. You will design age-appropriate activities, collaborate with contracted instructors, and help promote participation through eye-catching program materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead a variety of recreation programs, camps, special events, and activities for diverse age groups.
  • Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate experiences that promote physical, mental, and social well‑being.
  • Support program growth by creating, preparing, and distributing attractive and effective publicity and marketing materials.
  • Provide on-site leadership, ensuring programs run smoothly, safely, and inclusively.
  • Collaborate with and oversee contracted instructors to ensure high-quality program delivery and participant satisfaction.
  • Assist with facility preparation, set-up, clean-up, and daily operational needs.

Summer Camp Counselor

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors. In this role, you will create a fun, safe, and engaging camp experience for children by leading activities, supervising groups, and serving as a positive role model throughout the camp season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a group of campers throughout daily activities, transitions, and special events.
  • Lead or assist with recreational programs, such as arts and crafts, sports, outdoor adventure, games, and team-building activities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages respect, teamwork, and creativity.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by following camp policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and camp leadership.
  • Support campers with behavioral or emotional needs using positive discipline strategies.
  • Assist with set‑up, clean‑up, and maintenance of program areas.
  • Model professionalism, enthusiasm, and good judgment at all times.

 Maintenance Service Worker

The Maintenance Service worker is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and safe operation of recreational buildings, grounds, and athletic facilities. This role includes a variety of indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks that ensure a clean, functional, and welcoming environment for community members and program participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean interior floors and common areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, stalls, counters, and mirrors.
  • Restock restroom and facility supplies such as soap, paper products, and trash liners.
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Perform minor building repairs including replacing light bulbs, air filters, batteries, and basic fixtures.
  • Assist in room setups, furniture movement, and general facility organization.
  • Help prepare and maintain athletic fields, including dragging infields, ensuring proper field layout.
  • Assist with outdoor repairs such as fence upkeep, equipment checks, and general grounds appearance.
  • Inspect facilities and grounds for safety concerns and report issues promptly.
