Getting involved, being active, being part of something – that’s what recreation is all about at  Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation.  Check out all we have to offer and all of the opportunities available through our community partners. Ready to take a swing and hit the diamond on a co-ed team or have a go at Pickleball, a cross between tennis, badminton and ping-pong played indoors? Want to grab your track shoes and get running? What about a swift game of fun and competitive flag football? All skill levels welcome! Team Managers: Email us to submit your game scores. Please be sure to include your team name, game date and the final score.

Join us under the lights with friends and competitors! Must register as a team and team spaces are limited. Registration and information available by calling The Centre at 727.771.6000 or by email at recreation@phparksandrec.org.

Whether you are an experienced athlete or just looking for some fun, we have everything you need to achieve your volleyball dreams. Our league play offers a fantastic opportunity to test your skills against some of the most talented players in the area. Alternatively, our pick-up games are perfect for anyone who wants a casual and laid-back approach to the sport. Pickleball

Pickleball – a game that’s taking the world by storm – is a perfect hybrid of three classic sports: tennis,  badminton, and ping pong.  Think of it as playing ping pong on a badminton or tennis court. This game is a great way to have some fun, stay active, and meet new people regardless of your skill level. Whether you prefer playing for fun or for competitive reasons, Pickleball is an excellent choice.  So, don’t miss out on this fantastic game, and get ready to get your pickleball on.

Indoor - 3 courts

  • Ages 12+

  • $25 for 10 sessions or $3/drop-in
  • Monday & Tuesday, 10:00am - 12:00pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm
  • Saturday & Sunday, 11:00am - 2:00 pm

Tennis

Nets are provided at Putnam Park. Free on a first-come basis. PHPR-sponsored tennis lessons take precedence on the courts. Outdoor courts are shared with pickleball players.

Our courts welcome you on a first come, first serve basis, so aim to arrive early and claim your spot for an unforgettable experience. Feeling eager for something new? Try your hand at Pickleball – it’s exhilarating! Just keep in mind that Parks and Recreation programs might have priority over casual play, so checking the schedule in advance ensures you won’t miss out on any amazing opportunities!
