Do you have an acoustic guitar waiting for the right moment to shine? Imagine the joy of sharing music with your son, daughter, or grandchild! Whether you’re just starting out or have some skills to build upon, this is your chance to make beautiful music together! For the first 12 weeks of our journey, students will need to acquire the Hal Leonard Guitar Book 1, readily available on Amazon. Remember to bring your acoustic (NOT ELECTRIC) guitar to class, and our instructor will help you find the perfect fit if needed. Enrollment now considers the age of the student, so let’s make music across generations! Advanced registration is essential to secure your place on this uplifting adventure.

Paint Like Bob Ross

Learn the Bob Ross painting technique by a Certified Ross instructor. All necessary tools and materials provided, you’ll embark on a journey to paint “happy little trees and landscapes” step-by-step! Everyone is welcome, and those under 13 may join with a parent’s guidance.

Discover the bold, expressive world of soft pastel chalk art with guidance from a Certified Master Chalk Artist. Each class brings a fresh creative challenge designed to boost confidence, refine technique and inspire artistry for local chalk festivals. All materials are included in the class fee, indoor classroom setting. NOTE: Please register one week in advance to assure ample supplies are available.
Lunch and Learn
Be sure to sign up for these great and informative presentations. The February session features a Broadway “Edutainer” who will teach and entertain using clips and anecdotes from the widely known Broadway Musical, Phantom of the Opera. The March session provides helpful information on Medicare so feel free to come with questions. Both presentations are graciously sponsored by Curlew Hills Memorial Gardens. These workshops are designed to teach individuals how to protect themselves while focusing on practical techniques, situational awareness, and confidence building. The workshop aims to empower individuals with the skills and mindset necessary to respond in dangerous situations. Participants will learn basic strikes, blocks, escape tactics and verbal de-escalation skills. Self-defense is not just about fighting but about staying safe and escaping threats. Instructed by a 7th degree black belt, internationally certified instructor. Attire: Athletic clothes that are comfortable and allow you to move freely.
